Mirr Ranch Group is a proud patron sponsor for Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale. The Red Carpet event for the exhibit jump starts the National Western Stock Show every year and supports a great cause. The Mirr Ranch Group team was honored to be a part of the event and to be among so many influential individuals within the Denver community. This specific event allows individuals from every generation who are passionate about the West to come together and share this mutual enthusiasm and steward a combined support for the arts and education for these students. The Young Guns event was the night before, and allowed young professionals in the Denver area to get a glimpse of the collection and fund the cause as well.
This year’s exhibit includes a diverse collection of mixed media, painting, sculpture, and photography depicting the great American West. From photographs of a ranching family’s daily life, to abstract depictions of the Great Plains, the Coors Western Art Exhibit has something for all tastes. There are numerous works from artists that have appeared at the exhibit for years and many new comers as well. All of the proceeds from the event go towards the National Western Scholarship trust. This trust has existed since 1983 and has already provided 2000 scholarships for students pursuing a career in agribusiness and rural family medicine.
As always, it was a great kick-off to the National Western Stock Show and a great time to catch up with familiar faces. Numerous friends from the Roundup Riders were in attendance, family, and even our good friend Eric O’Keefe with The Land Report flew in from Dallas to help us celebrate. All of us here at Mirr Ranch Group look forward to the 109th annual National Western Stock Show and for this great tradition to continue for years to come.
