Ranch Operations
The parcels are approximately 80% covered in timber (Parcel 1 = 90% covered, Parcel 2 = 70%; Parcel 3 = 85%), much of it commercial grade, with some selective commercial timber cutting occurring over seven years ago on Parcel 1. The parcels have mostly been managed together, especially Parcels 2 and 3, with the primary agricultural use being summer cattle pasture, along with a few horses. Live water is provided by the perennial Canada del Carro and a half-dozen seeps and springs, with three of them being impounded to form small ponds. One existing well on the property has provided some domestic and stock water. Boundary fences for these parcels are largely not intact.Conservation Values
