Ranch Operations
Currently the ranch is operated as a guest retreat, for hunting, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. Historically, the ranch leased its grazing to a local rancher, running yearling cattle during summer months. The ranch is conservatively rated at 75-90 animal units year-round. There is minimal irrigated ground, with several dry-land meadows that could cut and baled for supplemental feed. There is also an artesian well that produces 150-170 gpm flows.Conservation Values
The ranch currently has approximately 680 acres under easement with The Nature Conservancy, “to ensure that the undeveloped and natural state of native plant communities and wildlife habitat are maintained on this tract."
