The ranch is situated in the hills just to the west of Elevenmile Reservoir near Lake George, Colorado. The ranch is approximately 60 miles from Colorado Springs and 120 miles from Denver. Woodland Park and Buena Vista are both nice sized communities and each located within about 45 miles of the ranch.Locale
Located west of Colorado Springs, the natural areas around the property have plenty to offer vacationers. Adventures range from viewing fossils and petrified redwoods at nearby Florissant Fossil Beds, to fishing, skiing and hiking. In the winter, the Breckenridge ski slopes are only a short 55 miles away. Woodland Park is about 45 miles east of the ranch and offers everything from grocery stores to movie theatres and medical care. Buena Vista is also a thriving community along the Arkansas River about 50 miles to the west, and is a popular destination for whitewater raters and kayakers.
