Piney Ridge Ranch - Colorado, Eagle County

The ranch is approximately 2,300 deeded acres with around 1,400 acres of BLM Lease. The property shares 5 miles worth of border with the White River National Forest. Such private access into the National Forest through well maintained trails affords use of thousands of acres of additional land for hunting, fishing, and general mountain recreation. The Eagle’s Nest Wilderness is less than 10 miles south of the property. The Colorado River is less than 1/4 mile away.

The ranch consists of irrigated hay fields intermixed with two distinct ecosystems. The lower sections of the ranch consist of sage draws dotted with oak brush, buck brush and ponderosa. Higher sections of the ranch include classic sub-alpine timber, aspen groves and grassy meadows.

Piney Ridge is unique because of its remote wilderness feel and year-round access coupled with close proximity to high culture and civilization. Beaver Creek is less than 30 minutes from the property. Denver is a little over two hours away. The full-service Eagle County Airport, with daily nonstop service to Dallas and Chicago year-round, and seasonal (winter) non-stops to most major cities in the country, is 30 minutes away.
