RFMC is located in the high country of the Bighorn Mountain range in north-central Wyoming. The ranch property is comprised of lush mountain meadows, pine and aspen covered ridges, and a picturesque mountain stream. RFMC is a special get-away property for the recreational enthusiast looking for great hunting, fishing, and a multitude of other outdoor activities.

The RFMC has a small two-room cabin, suitable for a hunting/fishing camp, or cow camp.


RFMC is located approximately 55 miles southwest of Buffalo, Wyoming and 20 miles west of Kaycee, Wyoming. Access to RFMC is via the Hazelton Road, south off of U.S. Highway 16 west of Buffalo, Wyoming. The ranch would be considered seasonal in access by truck/car (approximately early May to mid-November on average years). During winter months, the ranch would be accessible by snowmobile or any snow-tracked vehicle.


RFMC is located in the remote high country of the famed Bighorn Mountain range. The Bighorn Mountains are world renown for supporting high quality and quantify of big-game populations, wild trout fisheries, and countless outdoor recreational activities.


The climate will vary seasonally at RFMC. Summer temps vary from the mid-40s for lows to mid 70s for highs. The area received considerable snowfall during the winter months from December through April.
