The ranch sits generally along the northern edge of the White River Valley in a low mountain range known as the Danforth Hills. Commonly considered as the northwestern foothills of the Flat Tops mountain range, the property has a classic montane shrubland ecosystem with serviceberry and gambel oak. Elevations range from 7,000 up to 8,100 feet.

The property itself consists of flat, irrigated hay and pastureland surrounded by scenic hills covered in a mostly deciduous forest of gambel oak, serviceberry and chokecherry.

There are two homes on the property. The main house is a 1,900 square foot A-frame with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. There is also a camp house where hunters and guests stay which has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and approximately 2,400 square feet. Both homes were built in the 80s.

There is also a horse barn, hay shed, tool/equipment shed and various other ranching outbuildings on the property, all in very good shape.

The property is entirely perimeter fenced and pasture cross fenced. There are several ranch roads traversing the property.


The property is approximately 20 miles due north of Meeker, Colorado. Restaurants and shopping are about thirty minutes away in Meeker (Pop.: 2,200), which also has an airport that accommodates most private jet aircraft.


The area enjoys a typical Colorado intermountain climate with over 250 days of sunshine per year. Average summertime highs reach the low 80s, and in the winter average lows hover in the teens.
