Hunting
- Roslyn Ranch supports significant gameāelk, deer, moose, several fowl/waterfowl species, as well as a rich list of smaller wildlife and birds.
- Introduced to the area in 1979, moose are prolific in North Park and are highly sought after by hunters. 85 moose are killed on average in Colorado every year, the majority in North Park.
- The adjoining Routt National Forest and nearby Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge, offer additional seasonal hunting opportunities.
Fishing
- Lake Ruby, a 35-acre private lake, is located on the property, offering trout fishing.
- The East Fork of Big Willow Creek, a tributary of the North Platte River, Badgero Creek, and Howd Creek flow through the ranch.
- The close-by Illinois River is populated with brown trout, and the occasional rainbow or brook trout.
Recreation
- The adjoining Routt National Forest offers hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding, OHV riding, fishing and hunting.
- Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge is just to the north of the property. The refuge has self-guided wildlife tours, and offers wildlife observation, photography, hunting and fishing opportunities.
- World class skiing is available at Winter Park and Steamboat Springs, both within an hour of the ranch.
