Muddy Creek Ranch - Wyoming, Buffalo

Muddy Creek Ranch is 18 miles southwest of Buffalo, Johnson County Wyoming along the eastern face of the Bighorn Mountain Range. The ranch is approximately 2,200 deeded acres with around 1,600 acres of State Lease. The Bighorn National forest borders the ranch to the west. Private access into the National Forest through well maintained trails affords practically exclusive use of thousands of acres of additional land for hunting, fishing, and other general mountain recreation. The famed Cloud Peak Wilderness is only 15 miles west of the property. Restaurants, shopping, and general services can be found less than 20 minutes away in the quaint mountain town of Buffalo, Wyoming (pop. 3,500). Sheridan, Wyoming, with its full-service commercial airport, is 45 minutes north of the ranch.

There are two houses, a hunting cabin, and a historic log cabin on the property. The main home has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms with an office and a large remodeled kitchen with a Viking stove and Subzero refrigerator. The second home is a fully functional with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and currently serves as the ranch manager's living quarters. The hunting cabin is rustic but practical, as it sleeps 4 and has running water and electricity. The historic, 100+ year-old log cabin sits among the cottonwoods on Muddy Creek and could easily be restored.
