Mac brings to Mirr Ranch Group both past experience in the real estate industry and a passion for all things outdoors. Originally from East Tennessee, Mac grew up hunting and fishing in the fertile Tennessee Valley in the shadow of the Smoky Mountains which nurtured his enthusiasm for both agricultural and recreational land. With family ties to the West, he also spent a considerable amount of his youth hunting, fishing and backpacking around the Rocky Mountains, experiences that instilled in him a love for the West’s open spaces. Mac’s deep-rooted appreciation of the Rocky Mountain West and his past real estate brokerage experience has allowed him to successfully represent both buyers and sellers in multi-million dollar ranch transactions in Colorado and Wyoming.
Prior to joining Mirr Ranch Group in 2007, Mac worked as an Affiliate Broker for a privately held real estate company in Knoxville, Tennessee where he assisted in the sales, management, and development of commercial, residential and agricultural properties. Before that, while earning his degree at the University of Tennessee, he also worked in the insurance field preparing reconstruction estimates for commercial and residential properties throughout the Southeast. These past experiences contribute to Mac’s comprehensive understanding of agricultural and recreational land valuation.

Mac’s passion for hunting, fishing, backpacking and all things outdoors is a direct result of growing up on the Tennessee River just below the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Knoxville, TN. While Mac considers himself and equal opportunity outdoorsman, he is particularly fond of archery deer hunting and fly fishing various mountain streams around Colorado and Wyoming in the summer. In addition to the outdoors, his interest also include creating and working with maps, photography and western art.
