Another Successful Elk Season at C Cross C Ranch

C Cross C Ranch, located just 25 minutes south of Steamboat Springs in the Upper Yampa River Valley, is a historic Colorado mountain ranch with thousands of acres of private elk hunting. The ranch is known for producing and holding impressive bulls year in and year out and 2018 was no different. These two animals were harvested in the September archery season and several more were taken through the rifle seasons.

C Cross C Ranch is situated on the south facing slopes of Thorpe Mountain which is characterized by mature timber, open parks, and over 1000 feet of elevation variance. This expansive and diverse environment creates outstanding private habitat and supports top-notch big game hunting within a unit where hunting tags are readily available (GMU 15).
