The National Western Stock Show started up last week, and Mirr Ranch Group was there. Before the show officially kicked off on Saturday, we attended the Red Carpet Reception for the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale on January 7, 2009. All net proceeds from the reception, silent auction and art sale benefit the National Western Scholarship Trust, which awards scholarships to young adults seeking a college education in agribusiness or rural medicine. Mirr Ranch Group is proud to continue our sponsorship of the gallery this year. We love the art, and we’re honored to support tomorrow’s ranching leaders. When you attend the stock show between January 10-25, 2009, check out the Coors Western Art Gallery on the 3rd floor of the Hall of Education.
This week, we started off with the Goat Roping Benefit on Monday night in the Stadium. Ken Mirr, owner and broker of Mirr Ranch Group, was glad to participate with friends of the company. The event also benefited the same National Western Scholarship Trust.
That night, several of us at Mirr Ranch Group also attended the first night of the Professional Bull Riders Denver Chute-Out. Always an exciting event, these brave men competed at their best. Was anyone else there to see the bull fighter tossed up into the air? Quite thrilling. Many of us are going back tonight for the finals. Hope to see you there!
