A Little About Me
Based in Jackson, Wyoming, Davis LaMair brings a practical understanding of western landscapes shaped by an upbringing in the Rocky Mountains and years working throughout the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. He has spent over a decade as a professional fishing guide, working throughout Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, and Alaska, where he built a reputation for professionalism and a strong ability to read land, water, and wildlife.
Davis comes from a family with deep roots in land conservation and is part of the fourth generation to manage his family’s cattle operation in Missouri. He has been involved in habitat restoration and long-term management of working lands, giving him firsthand experience with how these properties function over time. He holds a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado and is completing a Master’s in Land Resources and Environmental Sciences at Montana State University, with a focus on soils, grazing systems, and wetland function.
Outside of work, Davis spends his time hunting, fishing, skiing, and exploring the landscapes he now helps clients navigate. He approaches ranch real estate with a practical, field-based perspective and a clear understanding of what drives long-term value in land. He works with MRG clients to buy and sell properties that align with their goals, whether for recreation, production, or long-term stewardship.
