Bear Camp

Located just north of the expansive Roosevelt National Forest and just inside the Wyoming border lies the Bear Camp, a 191-acre private sanctuary. Surrounded on three sides by deep timber forest from both Wyoming and Colorado, this is an end-of-the-road hideaway with complete solitude and modern amenities, complemented by a very nice 816 sq. ft. two bed, one bath cabin built in 2009.

Locale

Bear Camp is situated just two hours from Denver and 34 miles from Laramie, just a few miles off of HWY 287. Surrounded by public land on three sides, this retreat is bordered on the east and west by BLM, and then on the south by the Roosevelt National Forest.

Recreation

Bear Camp is an extremely private, very diverse property that is home to numerous species of big game. Daily sightings can be seen of moose, bear, mule deer, and elk.

Thousands of acres of National Forest directly adjacent to the property allows for recreational outings of any type right off the front porch of the cabin.

Hunting

The property offers excellent hunting for elk and black bear with many animals using the deep draws on Bear Camp to traverse back to the National Forest to the south of the property.
