Mirr Ranch Group is proud to announce that the company is named one of America’s Best Brokerages in the Summer 2014 issue of The Land Report. With sales exceeding $100 million in 2013, this is the fourth year in a row our ranch brokerage has received this honor.

2013 was a stand-out year for multiple reasons at Mirr Ranch Group. In addition to record-breaking sales, the high point of the year was the sale of the Trees Ranch, an iconic property surrounded by Zion National Park and Wilderness in southwest Utah. This transaction was such a landmark sale with high conservation values, it was awarded the 2013 Conservation Deal of the Year in the Spring 2014 issue of The Land Report.

Mirr Ranch Group | Best Ranch Brokerage

“The sale of Trees Ranch adds to Mirr Ranch Group’s proven track record of marketing and selling ranches and conservation properties in the West including those adjoining National Parks, National Forests and other public lands,” explained Owner and Ranch Broker, Ken Mirr.

With 2013 under our belt, the market is looking strong for 2014, as recreational properties rebound as agricultural properties did last year.

According to Mirr, “Our buyers indicated they felt that the prices had clearly bottomed out, and we were in recovery mode. The cattle markets were very strong, as was the demand for alfalfa, and this certainly influenced the farm and ranch market. This is continuing into 2014. Recreational ranches recovered slower than ag properties but these rebounded nicely and are following in agriculture’s footsteps this year. Our 2014 sales are already far exceeding this time last year, and we are clearly bullish for the rest of the year.”

And Ken is right. As of June 18th, our sales have nearly matched our 2013 record, and we have 6 months yet to go.
