Conservation Updates For Colorado Ranchers & Landowners, Part 2
Panel: Haley Mirr, Ken Mirr, and Erik Glenn.
Part 2 of a 2 Part Series:
Over the past year, Colorado has seen a substantial increase in new conservation easements across the state. In part 2 of our 2-part series, we revisit Haley’s chat in May 2022 with the Founder of Mirr Ranch Group, Ken Mirr, and special guest, the Executive Director of Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT), Erik Glenn, where we discussed the latest conservation updates and future of conservation in Colorado. Let’s see what we discovered.
The Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust was founded in 1995 to conserve Colorado’s western heritage and working landscapes for the benefit of future generations. Since then, CCALT has partnered with nearly 400 families to conserve more than 705,000 acres of farm and ranch land in Colorado. CCALT continues to deliver conservation solutions for Colorado’s working lands.
