The ranch is situated along the slope of the Big Horn Mountains, near the Horn, which is a prominent Wyoming geologic feature of the mountain range. Here, big-game hunting is world renown for producing trophy caliber elk, mule deer, and pronghorn. The ranch is secluded and private, yet only 30 minutes from Buffalo, Wyoming via well maintained county roads and U.S. highways.
Historically, the ranch operated as a purebred cattle operation, supporting up to 150 animal units. Currently the ranch is leasing out the grazing rights for summer cattle use.
This Wyoming ranch is cross-fenced into approximately 6 interior pastures, mainly high tinsel electric, with water available via springs, Steel Creek, or stock reservoirs. The exterior fences are in good condition and are generally standard bard wire construction.

Steel Creek, a perennial spring fed stream, dissects the property providing year-round water for the abundance of Wyoming wildlife, including pronghorn, mule deer, elk, Merriams turkey, Hungarian partridge, sage grouse, and a variety of other non-game animals.
