Mirr Ranch Group is proud to announce the sale of Caribou Ranch, a landmark property that has hosted and recorded over 150 legendary musicians, including Elton John, The Beach Boys, John Lennon, U2, and Michael Jackson, to name a few. The 1,600-deeded acre ranch sits in its own private valley right outside Nederland, Colorado. A recording studio in the 1970s and 1980s, the property is now a peaceful refuge with mature aspen and pine trees, expansive mountain views, an abundance of wildlife, live water in three year-round creeks, and well-maintained improvements. Caribou Ranch was listed at $45,000,000.
According to ranch broker, Jeff Hubbard, “It is an honor to have been involved in the sale of the iconic Caribou Ranch. With its extraordinary natural beauty and colorful history, Caribou Ranch will continue under exemplary ownership committed to perpetuating a strong legacy of land stewardship for this Rocky Mountain treasure.”
In addition to being apart of rich musical history, the ranch has high conservation values. Boulder County Parks and Open Space acquired about half of the original ranch, ensuring perpetual open lands adjacent to Caribou Ranch, and reserving for the owner, access to a private trail system on the open space. The ranch is also close to Rocky Mountain National Park and has direct access to National Forest lands.
