Ranch brokers Ken Mirr and Mac McWhorter recently showed Dakota Ranch to prospective buyers. While touring the ranch, they had quite a few sightings of various game on the property (see photos at left).
“Recently while touring the Dakota Ranch and in a span of just a few hours we were able to witness a plethora of wild game including wild turkeys and whitetail deer along the river, antelope in the grass lands and mule deer, elk and bighorn sheep in the foothills. People will travel to National Parks and never see the diversity of game that we saw that day on Dakota Ranch,” said listing broker Ken Mirr after the showing.
This 4,220-acre Dakota Ranch offers a combination traditional working ranch and fine sporting property. Fly fisherman will enjoy the brook, brown and rainbow trout found in the Laramie River, which runs for over a mile through the property. Dakota Ranch is located in Area 7, known as the best trophy bull elk hunting in Wyoming. Records reflect bulls in excess of 400 points in the area.
The property has traditionally been operated as a cow/calf operation. Historic water rights come with the ranch providing valuable water to irrigate approximately 175 acres near the ranch entrance and headquarters. There are also subirrigated meadows and pasture land along some of the other streams. Dakota Ranch includes large stretches of rolling grasslands providing excellent feed and additional water resources for livestock and wildlife.
This Wyoming ranch for sale is offered for $3,500,000. Contact ranch broker Ken Mirr for more information.
